It was built in 1964 according to Arch. Luigi Fonti's plan. In 1987/89 it was restored by Arch. Eugenio Lombardini.
It is remarkable the full-size wooden crucifix over the high altar, carved by Joseph Stuflesser from Ortisei; the painting " Miracolo della mula" by A. Botticelli; font in marble, carved by M. Pieri; "Via Crucis" and earthenware "bassorilievi" by U. Luccardi
