As part of the Foto d'Autunno exhibition, 'Locals' is dedicated to ordinary people in the "local" sphere of daily life through their photographic portraits. Protagonists of the event are photographers like Nino Migliori with some shots from the Neorealist period with a poetic slant on the everyday world without emphasis, Italo Zannier, a link between neorealist and US photography, Guido Guidi with home-made portraits of his friends, Mario Cresci who presents his work of linguistic research on the photographic device, Fabio Sandri with portraits in his reconstructed garage and again Paolo Gioli who exhibits passport photos (50 years old), found at home by the photographer of his village and Fabrizio Bellomo. And to finish, some outsiders like Roberto Salbitani, Jacopo Benassi, Nastynasty, Marcello Galvani.
The exhibition is curated by Roberto Maggiori.
The catalog (edited by Quinlan) is available at the exhibition.
