In July 1989, excavations brought to light a big archaeological complex in the hub of Rimini dating back to Roman period: a surgeon's house and a rich collection of surgical tools were found there.
Guided tours to the archaeological site are proposed every Friday, Saturday and Sundays and bank holidays at at 4 pm. In Summer are scheduled even evening tours.
The visit is included in the entrance ticket: 7 €, reduced 2 €. Booking is required.
On request, guided tours for groups, max 25 people, are organized to visit the archaeological site and the City Museum, at a cost of € 30 for the whole group (additional to the admission ticket).
