This "Borgo" has ancient origins.
You can get to it by walking down via Garibaldi (ex Contrada dei Magnani) up to Porta Montanara, Piazza Mazzini and the Church of San Gaudenzo, Rimini Patron Saint.
It has always been a populated and lively borough thanks to "Lavatoio" (rebuilt),"Foro Boario,Fornace Fabbri" and its several workshops; all that made Rimini's nerve centre of it.
The first Festival of Borgo S.Andrea dates back to 14th October 2002, that is on the day of Rimini's patronal festival.
Ever since, the Festival has been reproposed every two years.
